Marcos Antunez joined the center staff in June 2024 and serves with Green Iowa AmeriCorps until August 2024. He grew up in Macedonia, Iowa, and will start his final year at the University of Northern Iowa in the fall. Marcos will graduate with Bachelor's Degrees in Environmental Science and  Vocal Performance in May of 2025. He has a passion for restoring damaged ecosystems and mindful conservation of wildlife. He has personal goals of staying open-minded and always learning. In his free time, Marcos enjoys listening to and performing music, fishing, traveling, and spending time with friends.
