Mallory Sage joined the center staff in September 2022 as a service member with Green Iowa AmeriCorps. During the fall of 2024 she stepped into the role of Community Engagement Coordinator for the center. She is a Waterloo, Iowa native and graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, with a minor in sustainability. Alongside her half-time position here, Mallory continues to practice landscape design with RITLAND+KUIPER Landscape Architects of Waterloo.
