Have you inherited farmland or for other reasons trying to manage farming alone or with children or siblings? Do you own more than 40 acres, with some in crops? If this describes you, we invite you to have a light meal with us to meet and talk with other women like you.
Current practices of farming are changing rapidly. Some common methods are harming the land and water, and there are more options available to you than in the past. Some farming practices are being modified or replaced with more holistic options that not only improve soil health, water quality, and profitability but also positively impact the rural communities.
WFAN has a 10-year history of organizing fun and informative meetings about conservation practices for women landowners. Now we want to meet the needs of off-farm landowners like you. Join us for some lively conversation about farming and conservation. There is no obligation to pursue any new management style, just come and talk with us! There is a $10 fee to help defer venue and food costs. These meetings will last about 3 hours. Check back here for up-to-date details and registration.
